Emma’s Outfit Adventures 5.0 – Birthday Parties Done & Finished
Hey there again! These pictures were taken right after I got home from my third birthday party this weekend. Two of them were for my sister, who turned 12 yesterday, and the other one, which wasn’t actually a proper birthday party, it was more of a casual celebration while my family did some garden work, and I held my little cousin. But this post is about my outfit, the birthday party posts can wait.
I’m wearing the same leggings as in this post, and my flannel is from Ica’s mens wear line. My skirt, which is actually supposed to be a dress, I bought second hand, still with the tags on at the same time as the skirt in this post. When I bought it it hanged with the skirt, which was fortunate for me, because I don’t think I would have thought about wearing it as a skirt. If you haven’t figured this out already, I don’t really care about what a piece of clothing is labeled as, I wear my clothes however I want and I buy them from wherever I like. The only place I don’t shop at is the children’s section, simply because they don’t fit.
My top is from Lidl, and cost me about 40 SEK, which is around 4 Euros, if you’re curious. I actually bought another top from them the other day, that I saw at the same time as I bought this one, which costed around 50 SEK, maybe you’ll see that in a blog post some time, who knows.
My earrings are a sterling silver pair from Glitter that I wished for, and received for Christmas. I pretty much only wear sterling silver or stainless steel jewelry, because I’m allergic to nickel. The only costume jewelry I wear are some necklaces, usually from the sale section, because they don’t really last that long anyways. Though I’ve started to invest a bit more in those too, since I’m more into dainty necklaces now, and I’m trying to not buy things I don’t really love and feel like I want, since I’m a bit of a hoarder, and I have been my entire life, I get really emotionally attached to objects and things that shouldn’t matter, a lot easier than I get attached to people, and I have so many things that I don’t need, or even think about. So I’m trying to get better at not collecting, and also get rid of some things that I don’t need anymore.
But that was it for today, I’ll be back soon for those birthday party posts. See you soon!
